Ages

Wow...

It's been ages since I've been back to blog world.

Sure, you can say it's my fault- it is!! There has been so much going on that it's really been more than a whirlwind...like a tornado, more like!

  • school
  • full time job!
  • tests
  • weddings
  • events
  • life
the usual!

Of course, there are so many things I want to incorporate in my blog...I wouldn't even know where to begin...
  • writing
  • art
  • health
  • counseling ideas
  • travel
  • travel tips and ideas
  • events
Literally, no idea where to begin.

I guess the beginning of the year would make sense...

We spent New Years with family...
In February, we took a little vacation:
Hit some favorite spots, like Puerto Rico^^

...and St. Thomas^^

...and St. Maarten ^^ for planespotting

and hit one new-to-us-island: Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands...

and visited the Baths^^, which was on this guys bucket list :)

There is so much more to tell!
But I have a lot to do before I jump back to work.

So, if you're reading this...
welcome back!
i missed you!
i hope you're having a beautiful day,
a beautiful autumn,

and we'll talk soon <3

lotsa love,

do you know that feeling...

where, as a writer...it haunts you in the middle of the night what you want to write about but then, upon waking...

nothing.
nada.
ZILCH.

i really hate this feeling, and it should promote me to get up in the middle of the night and start writing.

since summer began, i have gone back to exploring, celebrating, and back to the daily grind of trying to get my career as a school counselor rolling again. i wish it was easier to get everything done that i want to (especially in the crafts department!) but it's not.

things on my mind and now out there in the blog-u-verse:

  • job job job. gimme gimme. want one to escape the boredom!
  • love summer.
  • social media is exhausting.
  • so many books to read, so little time
  • WANNA GO EVERYWHERE!
  • ah, me.
lol

so i'm back in the state where my mind buzzes around and around with thoughts and ideas like a ticker tape. sometimes, i swear it's a psychic thing i've got going on. i have no idea where said thoughts and ideas come from.

i've heard somewhere recently that writers have a more difficult time than non-writers getting their words out there in the way they want. this comforts me, because  i never feel adequate enough in describing much of anything when writing. and most of the time, there is no word flow, or just basic flow.

more things on my bucket list:
  • certification in nutrition, health and wellness.
  • yoga certification
  • my next big project
i hope all of you out there in bloggie land are doing wonderfully, and that your summer (or whatever season) is treating you well!!

lots of love and light from me to you,

kennedy space center

LML (love of my life) and I
have been to a bunch of places
over the years...

but I never thought that
the Kennedy Space Center
would turn us into such little kids.

It was awesome, and we learned so much-
I searched Port Canaveral for the Men in Black 3 scene
where they fought the alien at the end
during the rocket-take off
so there's about 100s more photos from here.

we touched a piece of the moon
met an astronaut
went into a simulated ride that's just like a rocket take off

and just really had the best time.

I highly recommend going!!

heaven and happiness

one of my favorite travel memories is dominica.
everything, anything about dominica was beautiful, from the earth itself straight down to each cell in every person.

we toured around the island and were introduced to an incredibly kind man
who had a 'gratis' farm-stand on the side of the road where he prepared fresh and local fruits and veggie fare for everyone (if you wanted to leave a small donation, you could, but it was not required!)

this is LML having a freshly picked banana with cocoa-roasted coconut on top.

you have no idea. that banana could fill you up for the whole day.

it was seriously one of the most amazing things i've ever eaten.

the guy running the stand was awesome
and knew a lot of stuff.

i can't wait to visit him and dominica again!

views from the farmstand.

my happy LML and our happy friend explaining everything to the group!

love this sign <3

can't wait to see you again, dominica!!

helpful websites for cancer related issues

(this was me during my 11th chemo..that led into "relapse" which led me to "have to" go through ICE chemo and BEAM chemo and an autologous stem cell transplant. i was too drugged up all the time (obv.!) to use my full mental capabilities to use this research. when i questioned doctors, they asked me if i was one in a snarky attitude. chemo made me stupid and i couldn't do much except be sick to my stomach and i don't wish it on anyone, ever. of course, they're going to tell you you've relapsed-- CHEMO IS NOT THE CURE, it adds more ACID to your already ACIDIC pH balance!)

a little note:

i wish i had known all of this stuff when i got diagnosed. my life would have been changed dramatically as i wouldn't have gone through 9 months of chemo and chosen to boost my immune system and detox my body instead.

http://www.cancertutor.com/

http://naturalnews.com/

http://cancerdecisions.com/

this may help you along your path, whichever one you choose.

while i was forced, scared out of my pants, and pretty much thrown into chemotherapy, i wish i would have used the time to research everything.

what i found out later:

  • there are so many other therapies, natural ones, that could be used. of course, the government would deem those therapies as fraudulent, quackery...and say that there is no proof. there was and there is proof-- but the government has been going into true healers practices since before 1950 and getting rid of all the paperwork and case studies. do they want you to get well, or to be a lifetime consumer of the medical b.s. of brand new medicine until you drop dead?
  • the world is overpopulated and you are just a statistic.
  • doctors make bonuses when they refer you to chemo!!
  • instead of boosting your immune system to fight off cancer, or any other sickness, they purposely add chemo, which is acid, so it could kill off ALL cells (good and bad.) more chemo = more relapses.
  • The American Medical Association is a labor union.
  • GE is a member of the cancer industry and own NBC.
  • why would they tell you chemo is good? because if they don't, all the Cancer Societies that take good people's money for research would go under, and billions a year would be left to the people.
  • the AMA/FDA cannot patent and sell something that is natural!!

please research,

you have time

and

you matter.
